Close

You are as close to me
As skin is close to wind
You are as soft
As a gentleman’s rage.
You are the kigosho and praise
That holiest of escapes
The tick and tock of the clock
That seals the locks of my heart.
When I close my eyes
The battle of angels and demons dies
And your kiss like nectar
Seals the loneliness of the night.
